Synopsis:

Bayu is a hardworking man who works as a becak driver to pay for his life and a younger sister named Santi. He and his sister have only lived together since their parents have died. His income as a becak driver was enough to support and finance his sister's school, because it was so difficult to find a job in the capital Jakarta he chose to become a becak driver rather than have to become unemployed. With the profession as a becak driver no woman would want to be his girlfriend. Until in the end there is a woman who accidentally met by him and want to accept him as he is and become his true lover.

First setting:

            (At Bayu’s house) Bayu's sister named Santi complained of not paying the school tuition for 3 months, and the teacher had asked when it would be paid.

Santi                    :  Brother, my tuition has been 3 months unpaid, and my teacher has asked me when will be paid.

Bayu                    :  Yes patient, I'm trying to find the money. Said to your teacher soon may be paid.

Santi                    :  Yes brother, tomorrow I will convey to my teacher.

Bayu                    :  You just study the diligent, school well, and do not make my effort to be in vain. About the cost of just let me think.

Santi                    :  Yes brother, I will not make you disappointed.

Bayu                    :  All right, continue doing your assignment.

Second setting:

            (At Diva’s house) Diva is fussing with her boyfriend on the phone, because she gets proof that her boyfriend is having an affair for the umpteenth timewith another woman.

Diva                     :  Why are you still calling me?! I don’t need any explanation from you!

Fajar                    :  Please listen to my explanation dear, I have nothing to do with the woman.

Diva                     :  I don’t care!! I’m really tired!! I think this relationship should be stopped, we broke up!!

Fajar                    :  No no dear, I don’t want us breaking up. I don’t want to lose you.

Diva                     :  Argh, bullshit!! We broke up!!

Diva turn off the phone. She was crying and her mother came to her.

Diva’s Mother    :  What happen to you my daughter? This must be the man!

Diva                     :  Yes Mom, I was wrong for not listening to your advice.

Diva’s Mother    :  Never mind, just make this all the lesson for you in the future.

Diva                     :  Okay mom, once again forgive me mom.

Diva’s Mother    :  No problem, you go to college there later you're late.

Diva                     :  Okay mom. Bye mom, I love you.

Diva’s Mother    :  I love you too honey. Be careful.

Diva                     :  Yes mom.

Third setting:

            (On the highway where Bayu used to wait for his becak customers) When Bayu was talking with other becak drivers, suddenly a car crashed into a Bayu becak parked on the side of the road. Suddenly Bayu was shocked and panicked at his becak that was hit by the car. And a woman getting out of the car crashed into a Bayu becak instead scolds Bayu and blames him for parking becak carelessly.

Diva                     : Hey, you!!Parked a becak do not carelessly, if it happened like this is my problem. Or you deliberately so that your becak was hit and kept asking for a change with a new becak, haa??!!

Bayu                    :  What?? Already you are doing wrong instead of apologizing instead blaming me, who should be angry that i am not you!!

                                You see this, I parked already at the designated place. Now you have responsibility, my becak is badly damaged. Or I report you to the police station.

Diva                     :  Ohh, no no no!! I apologize, do not report me to the police station. I will be responsible, how much damage should I pay?

Bayu                    :  Okay if so, but you not only have to pay for my rickshaw damage. You are rich, by just paying it will be very easy for you.

Diva                     : So, what should I do?

Bayu                    :  You have to be a becak driver like me, so you know how hard it is to make money and not to waste money or make mistakes again.

Diva                     :  Haa, what?! I must be a becak driver? Are you kidding huh?

Bayu                    :  No, I am not joking. You must be a becak driver one week.

Diva                     :  Okay.

Fourth setting:

            (On the Diva campus) When the Diva had just arrived at the car park and parked her car, Fajar came to her.

Fajar                    :  Diva, Diva..Wait wait, listen to my explanation, it's all misunderstood.

Diva                     :  Let go of my hands, I do not want to hear any more explanations from you!!

Fajar                    :  You can not be like this Diva, I'm your boyfriend. You must believe me.

Diva                     :  Sorry, my belief is gone for you.

The Diva left Fajar and ignored whatever he said. And when the lecture is over, Fajar is still trying to convince the Diva if he is innocen.

Fajar                    :  I take you home okay dear?

Diva                     :  I brought my own car.

Fajar                    :  If so, tonight I'll pick you up, we have dinner outside okay?

Diva                     :  No no no, don’t you try to come to my house because my mother really don’t like you. You know!

Fajar                    :  Yes I know, I will prove to your mother if I deserve for you.

Diva                     :  Not need, because I'm fed up with you. And you can only bring problems in my life! Never bother me again!

                                (Diva raced fast with her car)

Fajar                    :  Divaaaaa, wait!!! Argh!!

Third setting:

            (In the same place when the Diva first met with Bayu) Diva came to meet Bayu and keep his promise. Diva finally became a becak driver like Bayu every day for one week. Initially the Diva was embarrassed because it was a new thing for her. But after a few days in her life she started to feel comfortable, plus Bayu who always cares about her all the time. And appeared in the mind of Diva to introduce Bayu to her parents as her boyfriend for her parents to believe that she had moved on from the Fajar.

Diva                     :  Bayu wouldn’t you help me?

Bayu                    :  What kind of help do you want? As long as not all sorts. Why not?

Diva                     :  I want to ask you to pretend to be my boyfriend for a while in front of my parents.

Bayu                    :  What? Be your boyfriend? In front of your parents? Why?

Diva                     :  You are asking too many questions!So my parents believe that I have not thought about my jerk boyfriend again. You want? Pleaaaasssseeee. Just a few days until I finish my responsibilities.

Bayu                    :  Hmmmm, okay no problem. Just few days right?

Diva                     :  Yeeaayy!! Thank you Bayuuuu.

Second setting:

            (At Diva’s house) Diva brought Bayu to dinner together at her house because her mother wanted to meet Bayu.

Diva’s Mother    :  Ouh, so this is the name Bayu?

Bayu                    :  Yes aunty, my name is Bayu. Nice to meet you.

Diva’s Mother    :  Nice to meet you too Bayu. Okay, let’s eat the food. Don’t be shy.

Bayu                    :  Yes aunty, thank you so much.

Diva’s Mother    :  So what is your job Bayu?

Diva                     :  Hm, Bayu works as a mechanic mom. Right Bayu?

Bayu                    :  Hah, yes aunty I am a mechanic.

Diva’s Mother    :  Ouh, that’s good. You’re a hard worker figure.

Bayu                    :  Yes aunty, thank you.

After dinner

Bayu                    :  Well I excuse myself to go home, aunty.Thank you for dinner, a very nice cooking.

Diva’s Mother    :  Okay Bayu, thanks for coming. Oftentimes play here okay?

Bayu                    : Yes aunty, once again thank you so much. I excuse aunty, assalamualaikum.

Diva’s Mother    :  Okay Bayu, be careful. Waalaikumsalam.

After Bayu go home

Diva                     :  So, how do you think about Bayu mom?

Diva’s Mother    :  I likes this men. He is polite, kind and hard worker. Unlike Fajar, a spoiled child who only expects help from his parents alone.

Diva                     :  Yes mom, never mind to discuss it.

Diva’s Mother    :  All right! You go to bed, tomorrow you go to collage.

Diva                     :  Okay mom. Good night mom, I love you.

Diva’s Mother    : Yes honey, I love you too.

Fourth setting:

            (On the Diva campus) Suddenly Fajar came to pull the Diva's hand and scolded her. Fajar brings proof of what makes the Diva away from him.

Fajar                    :  So because this man you away from me?

Diva                     :  This has nothing to do with him, give me that photo

Fajar                    :  Why? You are scared? You see what I will do to this man

Diva                     :  What do you want to do? You do not mess about it. I report you to the police station if you do anything.

Fajar                    :  I’m not afraid!

First setting:

            (At Bayu’s house) When morning Bayu and his sister will leave, Bayu surprised to see his becak is destroyed. Bayu wonders who is willing to do this all, he feels no enemy and never do wrong to anyone.

Bayu                    :  Astaghfirullah. Oh my God. What happen with my becak? Who did this?

Santi                    :  What’s brother? What? Oh my God. What happen brother?

Bayu                    :  I do not know what happened, I never did anything to anyone else.

Santi                    :  Be patient brother, may anyone who do this all will get an equal reply.

Bayu                    :  Yes my sister, you got to school. I will clean this.

Santi                    : Okay brother.

Second setting:

            (At Diva’s house) Fajar comes to meet the Diva's mother and gives evidence that the Diva is close to a becak driver. Originally Diva's mother did not believe and drove Fajar. But Fajat tried to show the evidence that it was indeed a Diva with a becak driver.

Diva’s Mother    :  Where did you get this photo? Is this all just your tricks?

Fajar                    :  No aunty, this I take directly where the Diva often meet with this becak driver. This is proof if I care about Diva aunty, and I love Diva. I don’t want Diva to be in the wrong hands.

Diva’s Mother    :  Well then, you go home. Let me talk to my daughter later.

Fajar                    :  All right aunty, thank you so much.

Not long after Diva arrived at home.

Diva                     :  Hai mom, what are you doing?

(At Bayu’s house) Diva came to meet with Bayu to give the good news, but Bayu was not in where he used to work as a pedicab driver. Finally she went to Bayu's house.

Diva                     :  Assalamualaikum. Bayu, are you at home?

Bayu                    :  Waalaikumsalam. Eh Diva, what happen Diva? Let’s go in.

Diva                     :  Okay. Why don’t uou work today? You must be sick.

Bayu                    :  Not Diva, I am not sick. My becak is damaged by people, I do not know who it is.

Diva                     :  Haa? What? Oh my God. This is all the action of Fajar. You do not worry, I'll take care of everything

Bayu                    :  No, it’s okay. I am sincere.

Diva                     :  No, this is can be left alone. Let him feel the consequences.

Bayu                    :  It’s okay Diva, no problem.

            (In the Cafe) Bayu already intend to express his feelings to the Diva, so also with Diva.

Bayu                    :  Diva, there's something I want to talk to you.

Diva                     :  What is Bayu? Just say it.

Bayu                    :  Hmm, that is. Hmm, will you be my girlfriend?

Diva                     :  Hah? What? Are you kidding?

Bayu                    :  No, I’m serious. After how many days we spent together, the feeling grew slowly and afraid to be far away from you. That's exactly what I say to my heart now.

Diva                     :  Really? Because I also feel the same thing.

Bayu                    :  Yes, of course. So, do you want to be my girlfriend?

Diva                     :  Yes I want to.

Bayu                    :  Thank you Diva, you have accepted me for what I am with all my shortcomings. I have another good news for you.

Diva                     :  You’re welcome Bayu, I love you just the way you are. Really? What is that?

Bayu                    :  I got a scholarship on campus where I was in college, and I could continue my education and get a great job.

Diva                     :  Wow, really? I’m so proud of you. This would be good news for my mother.

Bayu                    :  Yes, I never make you and your mother disappointed. I love you Diva.

Diva                     :  I love you too Bayu.

Diva and Bayu come to Diva house to bring good news to Diva's mother. Of course Diva’s mother agrees with their relationship and fully supports them.And Fajar get a reply from his actions by going to jail for damaging the becak of Bayu. Bayu and Diva finally get married and live happily after they finish their college and Bayu has got a good job.
